The Virtual Hacker Space Room (VHSRoom) project started as a conversation between Hellekin and Jaromil last year at HSF. It aims at providing a light infrastructure for multi-channel ASCII video conferencing with an out-of-band encrypted audio channel and an out-of-band Jabber chat for hackerspaces to use as a fulltime shared room to ease ad-hoc cooperation with a low-bandwidth requirement.
